A bubble on a running water

Life is like a bubble formed on a running water. We can never predict how long it lasts. Yet we try to live life as if we are going to live forever.
Death is a great teacher that comes around to our near and dear ones so unexpectedly, reminding us of the uncertainty of life.
My late little sister strikes to me as someone who was celebrating her life and looking forward to lead a happy and meaningful life.
And like a candle in the wind, hers blew out a bit too soon just when she was loving her life so much.
Yet she seemed to have touched so many other lifes in that brief moment with her thoughts and actions.
May you take swift rebirth in a higher realm.

“The world seemed to be cloudy and gray today. Trashigang Desuups are lost in a storm of emotions on hearing the passing of Desuup Phuntsho Wangmo (we fondly call her Pincy) and her husband in a motor vehicle accident yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and relatives. We send our deepest condolences.
For Trashigang Desuups, losing Pincy is heart-wrenching and devastating. No one and nothing can fill the void created by her loss. No words can ever really relieve the pain we are going through. Although the death is a part of our life, it is never easy to lose someone young, someone bright, someone who has a tremendous faith in His Majesty the King, and someone who believes in small miracles.
Desuup Pincy was a teacher at Phongmey PS. She had touched so many lives, helped so many people, and made so many children walk the right path—the path of wisdom and nation building. It is hard to accept that she is now gone—the grief and sorrow have rolled on us like a fog, and like the waves crashing into an ocean.
We have so many memories of Pincy that we will cherish in our heart and mind. Her life is a beautiful story to tell. So many things flash through our mind—those times when we were fighting a forest fire, those times when we were volunteering for Trashigang Dzong renovation project, those times at Dewathang attending Desuung refresher courses, and so many more. We are left with thousands of memories that will linger on like the melody of a beautiful song.
To her families and relatives, our words of condolence cannot erase the pain of your loss, yet we hope you find some small comfort. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time”.
Desuup Rinchen Wangdi (On behalf of Trashigang Desuups) Trashigang Desuups”
